Terms and Conditions
The agreement between your pharmacy and us — what we provide, what stays yours, and where responsibility sits.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern your use of Ranbix and the Ranbix website. By installing, accessing or using the software you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. The Services
Ranbix is a pharmacy operating system covering point-of-sale billing, batch-wise inventory, purchases, GST computation and reporting, accounting, and store operations. It is supplied under a subscription or a licence.
Two sibling products may form part of your arrangement: Nucleus, the head-office console for a group of stores, and BIXClinic, the clinic system whose prescriptions can arrive in a pharmacy's order queue. Where you use those, these terms apply to them as well.
3. Accounts and your responsibility
You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for everything done under your accounts. You agree to give accurate business details, including GST registration and drug-licence particulars where these apply, and to tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without authorisation.
Ranbix enforces roles and per-store scoping, but it cannot tell whether the person at a counter is the person the login belongs to. Issuing and revoking staff logins is yours.
4. Acceptable use
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source of the software; resell, sublicense or provide it as a service to a third party without written agreement; upload unlawful content; or use the Services in breach of pharmacy, drug or data-protection law applicable to you.
You may not use the Services to record dispensing that did not take place, or to produce a document that misstates a sale for tax purposes.
5. Your data is yours
All business data you enter or generate — sales, stock, purchases, ledgers, customer and prescription records — remains your property. We process it only to provide and support the Services, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Your operational records remain yours. You can ask us for an export of them at any time, before or after cancellation, and we will provide one. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you put in, and for taking your own backups.
6. Medical and professional disclaimer
Ranbix supports pharmacy workflow. It does not give medical advice and is not a substitute for the judgement of a registered pharmacist or physician.
Features such as expiry alerts, FEFO batch selection, interaction prompts and any AI-assisted suggestion are assistive only. Dispensing decisions, substitution and patient counselling remain the professional responsibility of the qualified person at the counter, who must review anything the software proposes before acting on it.
7. Tax and regulatory computation
Ranbix computes GST from the rates and particulars you configure and records them at the moment of sale. The correctness of those settings, of your registration details, and of what you ultimately file, remains yours. We do not act as your tax adviser and are not responsible for a filing made on figures you have not checked.
8. Availability and support
We do not warrant that the website, updates, or any optional hosted component will be uninterrupted or error-free. Support is provided through the channels listed below during business hours.
9. Fees, renewal and cancellation
Subscription fees are payable in advance for the period chosen and renew automatically unless cancelled. Cancellation stops future billing; the Services remain available to the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
10. Intellectual property
The software, its interface, design, logos, documentation and all related content remain the property of PINEAPPS® TECHNOLOGY. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for your own business for as long as your subscription or licence is current. Nothing here transfers ownership.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost data where you held no backup, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid for the Services in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Termination
We may suspend or end access where these terms are materially breached, or where fees remain unpaid after notice. On termination you keep your database and may export it; we will help you do so on request.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
14. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. Where a change is material we will make reasonable effort to notify you. Continuing to use the Services after a revision takes effect means you accept it. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
